The cultural heartbeat of the Warri Kingdom beats louder this March as we celebrate the 17th Edition of Ghigho Aghofen (Palace Watch).

The spotlight will be on the Ugbolokposo Community, which will formally take over the prestigious duty of watching over the Palace. They will succeed Olobe Community, who would have completed their tenure with distinction.

What to Expect:

• The Handover: A ceremonial transfer of duties from the outgoing Olobe Community to the incoming Ugbolokposo Community.

• Cultural Spectacle: A vibrant display of Itsekiri heritage featuring traditional drumming, intricate dance steps, and dramatic displays of loyalty to the Crown.ty,lokp
