Warri Kingdom proudly announces the official schedule for the 19th Edition of the Ghigho Aghofen (Palace Watch). This September, the dedicated Bobi Community will conclude their three‑month service to the Crown and formally hand over duties to the incoming Utonlila Community.

This sacred transition continues to reflect the unity, discipline, and deep cultural heritage of the Iwere people. To mark the occasion, the Palace has outlined a three‑day programme of royal and cultural activities.

The ceremonies will begin with the Ugwa‑Olu. His Majesty, Ògíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III CFR, the Olu of Warri, will pay a historic royal visit to the Bobi community. Ogiame will walk upon their soil to offer blessings and prayers for continued prosperity, honouring their successful stewardship during the Palace Watch.
