This will be the 7th edition of Ghigho Aghofen hosted by His Imperial Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri. Ijala community comprising Ijala-Ikenren, Aja Etan and Ifie Kporo will be exiting the palace to give way for Ikpisan community to take over the palace watch.
The next day, Saturday, August 19, OgiamαΊΉ will confer Chieftaincy titles on three deserving Itsekiri daughters (the first batch of three sets of recipients) at the main palace hall by 12:00 Noon. Recipients of the Chieftaincy Titles: 1. Mrs. Theresa Egbe-Ikimi 2. Mrs. Esther Okotie-Eboh 3. Mrs. Ebiyemi Omatseye
On Sunday, August 20, the IwαΊΉrαΊΉ Musical Concert headlined by the Royal IwαΊΉrαΊΉ Choir will be held at the Palace church by 3:00 PM;
