Earlier this week, Monday 27th June, The National Association Of Itsekiri Students (NAIS), led by the National President, Comr. Ighonmieyetan Ernest, paid a courtesy visit to her Grand Patron and revered King, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, The Olu of Warri at Aghofen Warri (The Olu’s Palace).
The president in his address, appreciated His Majesty for taking the time to receive the student body and the introduction of new policies and implementation of plans to transform Warri Kingdom.
Comrade Ighonmieyetan outlined the benefits of NAIS to the Itsekiri students and the Itsekiri nation at large. He proceeded to provide a list of challenges currently facing NAIS and informed Ogiame Atuwatse III of the programs outlined for the year. Ogiame Atuwatse III in his response addressed some of the issues and promised to look into the others. His Majesty encouraged the students and gave them His blessings.
